16th SolarPACES Conference
                                INVITATION

SolarPACES (Solar Power And Chemical Energy Systems) has been active for more than 30 years to facilitate through international cooperation the development of Concentrating Solar Systems for producing industrial heat, power, solar fuels and clean-water. Due to rapid developments in the sector of CSP, the Conference has become an annual event that will be held this year in Perpignan (France), 21-24 September 2010, after Berlin in 2009.

 SolarPACES 2010 offers:

- A forum for industry, research, politics and financing stakeholders to discuss the future of concentrating solar energy.

- A scientific and technical conference program with world leading experts and with a special emphasis on recent R&D results.

- Insights into new developments in technology, politics, the market and financing presented by top experts in the fields.

SolarPACES 2010 is teamed up with ESTELA, the European Solar Thermal Electricity Association and with the DERBI French competitiveness cluster (Development of Renewable Energies in Buildings and Industry).

The conference will also be an excellent opportunity to visit Perpignan, the Catalan Mediterranean coast, and Odeillo-Font Romeu in the Pyrénées Mountains, the French site where concentrated solar energy research was born.
